OnTracks

Pricing

Pay for value at the moment value is delivered.

A one-time setup fee per workspace covers the tracking plan + GTM deploy + verifier walk. A small monthly subscription per workspace covers ongoing drift watch + self-healing selectors. Volume discounts apply automatically as you add workspaces.

Per workspace, at deploy
$199 – $499 one-time

Setup fee scales down as your account grows: $499 for your 1st–4th workspace, down to $199 once you have 50+. Charged when you click Deploy live.

Per workspace, ongoing
$39 – $349 / mo

Event-volume bracket. Light (≤500K events/mo) is $39. Heavier traffic pays proportionally. Auto-bumps next billing cycle when crossed.

Setup fee (one-time, per workspace)

Charged when you click Deploy live on a demo workspace. Covers: tracking plan generation, GTM container deploy, verification walk-through, and the first 30 days of selector watch + self-healing.

Monthly subscription (per workspace, by event volume)

Each workspace gets its own monthly subscription based on the events it ships. Light is the default for new workspaces; brackets auto-bump on the next billing cycle when traffic crosses the threshold.

Volume discount (auto-applied)

Stacks with the setup-fee band scaling. Setup fees aren't coupon-discounted — the band ladder above is the setup-fee discount mechanism. Volume coupons apply to every recurring monthly item, add-ons included.

One add-on = one job, switched on per workspace. Stacks with any monthly bracket; cancel anytime from the workspace without losing the data.

Platform reliability guarantee

We don't offer a general money-back guarantee — the free demo workspace + plan preview is the trial. What we DO commit to: a refund if the platform fails to deliver on any of these five documented cases — setup fee + first month on the first four, the add-on month on the fifth.

  • Planner failure

OnTracks couldn't generate a tracking plan within 30 minutes of your Deploy click.

  • GTM deploy failure

The platform couldn't push tags to your GTM container — auth, permissions, or API errors.

  • Synthetic verifier red

The post-deploy walk-through reports tags not firing, parameters missing, or CAPI not dispatching.

  • Selector anchor failure

Within 7 days of go-live, fewer than 80% of verified events fire on real visitors.

  • Add-on failure

A paid Intelligence month produced nothing usable — zero briefs generated while sessions exist, or an empty funnel while events exist. Refund of that add-on month only.

What's NOT covered: changes of business circumstances (client churned, agency direction changed), disagreement with the proposed plan (the unlimited free demo + plan preview is when you decide), disagreement with the content of the briefs (the covered case is the add-on producing nothing at all), dissatisfaction with features we don't claim to offer, or tracking that worked at deploy but degraded later (selector watch + self-healing covers ongoing maintenance as part of your monthly subscription).

Lifetime per account; one claim per Stripe Customer. Documented full mechanics in our internal business-model.md §2.5.

What this looks like for typical agencies

Setup fees front-load Year 1; monthly subscriptions are the ongoing footprint. Volume discounts kick in automatically at 5+ live workspaces.

ProfileWorkspacesSetup feesMonthlyYear 1 total
Freelance media buyer (1 client, low traffic)1 Light1 × $499 = $499$39 · no discount~$967
Small agency (5 clients, mostly Light)4 Light + 1 Standard4 × $499 + 1 × $399 = $2,395$(4 × $39 + $69) × 0.9 ≈ $203/mo~$4,830
Mid agency (20 clients, mixed traffic)15 Light + 5 Standard4 × $499 + 15 × $399 + 1 × $299 = $8,280$(15 × $39 + 5 × $69) × 0.8 = $744/mo~$17,200

On annual billing (−17% on everything recurring), the mid-agency profile above saves ~$1,500/yr.

FAQ

Why no flat-monthly tiers?
Per-workspace pricing aligns with how the platform delivers value: the tracking plan + GTM deploy is a one-time event (the setup fee), the drift watch is ongoing (the monthly bracket). Flat tiers overcharge agencies with 1 client and undercharge those with 25M-event workspaces.
What counts as an event?
Sessions and the events the SDK captures on your site — page views, clicks, scroll milestones, in-site searches, dataLayer / e-commerce pushes. Status updates, heartbeats and bot-flagged sessions don't count, and a bracket only ever moves one step per check — alerted with the exact amount before the next invoice.
What happens when my workspace's bracket bumps?
Auto-bumps next billing cycle when last month's traffic crosses the threshold. Downgrades require explicit confirmation in the dashboard so a one-month traffic dip doesn't surprise either side.
Can I cancel?
Anytime, from the Stripe Customer Portal. Cancellation is for next-cycle — the current month remains paid. The workspace stays in live state until period end, then the bracket subscription auto-cancels.
What's the refund policy?
Platform reliability guarantee (see above) covers 5 documented failure cases — full refund of setup fee + first month on the platform cases, refund of the add-on month if Intelligence produced nothing usable. Beyond those cases: no refunds. The unlimited free demo workspace is the trial.
Are there extra usage fees?
No — and the price is never discovered on the invoice. Both the base subscription and the Intelligence add-on follow the workspace's volume bracket (tables above); nothing is billed per call or per action. If traffic crosses a threshold mid-month, you're alerted immediately (e-mail + dashboard) with the exact next-cycle amount.
How does annual billing work?
−17% (2 months free) on everything recurring, add-ons included, chosen per workspace — put your anchor client on annual and stay monthly elsewhere. Setup fees are still charged once. If a workspace crosses a bracket mid-year: an immediate prorated invoice for the delta at the annual rate, preceded by the same alert as monthly — never a cumulative catch-up at the anniversary. Annual does not freeze the bracket.
